Prerequisite: admission to Respiratory Therapy program This course introduces students to the field of respiratory care, including the role of the respiratory therapist within the healthcare system. Students will learn to take medical histories, perform physical assessments of the respiratory system, take electrocardiograms, and perform basic bedside nursing skills.
