Accessing Account

View E-mail via myLakeland
You can view your e-mail by logging into myLakeland and clicking the student e-mail icon in the upper right corner of the screen or accessing the student tab and clicking on the student e-mail icon in the 'Student Nav' channel. Your e-mail will be available without entering a username or password. If you ever change your password you will be prompted for your new one.

Access Account Directly
You can also access your new gmail account directly by going to http://e.mail.lakelandcc.edu/ and entering your username and password. Accessing your account directly gives you full access to all the powerful tools available to you via your google account.

Username:	Your Username is your full student e-mail address but you only need to enter the first part. Example: jsmith12 of jsmith12@mail.lakelandcc.edu
Password:	Your default password was emailed to you when you first applied as a student.

Access Account via GMAIL.COM
You can also access your new gmail account directly by going to https://www.gmail.com and entering your username and password. Accessing your account directly gives you full access to all the powerful tools available to you via your google account.

Setting Up POP

You may need to know these settings for POP setup:

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: requires SSL	pop.gmail.com Use SSL: Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: requires TLS or SSL	smtp.gmail.com Use Authentication: Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587 Port for SSL: 465
Account Name:	jsmith12@mail.lakelandcc.edu
Password:	Your default password was emailed to you when you first applied as a student.
