Lakeland Community College and its Office of Student Engagement & Leadership invite families to celebrate the Halloween season at its free Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. The festivities will take place in the college's Northwest Parking Lot (P5), near the entrance of campus, and are free and open to the public.

The family-friendly event promises a fun-filled evening where attendees can collect candy and goodies from a variety of decorated trunks. These trunks will be hosted by Lakeland departments as well as community partners, including local first responders.

In addition to trick-or-treating, guests can enjoy Halloween-themed yard games and a festive music playlist. Food options will also be available on-site, including food offered for a donation.

In the event of rain, the Trunk or Treat festivities will be moved indoors to the H-Building Atrium.

For more information about the event, please contact Melissa Rains, Director of Student Life, Engagement and Leadership, at mrains1@lakelandcc.edu or 440.525.7271.
