Adult Learner and Returning Student Information Session
Adult Learner and Returning Student Information Session - For prospective students who are 25 years of age or older and are considering enrolling at Lakeland for the first time. These sessions are also for returning Lakeland students. If you have previously been accepted and/or attended Lakeland (including former College Credit Plus and Tech Prep students) but have not registered for classes within the last two years, you are considered a returning student and are also welcome to attend this information session to learn how to reenroll in classes.
Each session looks at the most asked questions among adults returning to school such as:
Why should I return to school?
How long will it take for me to earn a degree or certificate?
How can I afford it?
We will also cover topics on the minds of many adult learners including childcare, online classes, credit for prior learning and experience, and resources to balance work, home, and study.
Registration is required! Each session will last about one hour.
