College students enrolled in Lakeland art classes are exhibiting their works in the annual “Lakeland Community College Visual Arts Student Exhibition” gallery show that is running through May 4, 2017. The show, in The Gallery at Lakeland, provides talented students the opportunity to submit their projects for adjudication, with scholarship and monetary prizes awarded. The gallery is located on the first floor of the D-Building on Lakeland’s main campus, at 7700 Clocktower Dr., Kirtland, Ohio, 44094. All shows are free and open to the public.

This year, 87 students are exhibiting creations that represent a variety of art forms, including graphic arts, clay, sculpture, pencil drawing, painting, jewelry and photography. Over $1,200 in cash awards and gift certificates were handed out, and $5,200 in talent grants was awarded to students.
