Lakeland Community College invites prospective students to explore high-growth careers in health care at its Health Programs Open House on Thursday, March 27 from 3:30-6 p.m. Attendees can learn about the college's diverse health programs, spanning direct patient care, indirect patient care, and medical office/medical billing fields.
The event will be held in the H-Building Atrium on Lakeland's campus at 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland, Ohio. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with faculty and discover pathways to careers in healthcare through both degree and certificate programs.
"Our health program graduates enjoy outstanding job placement rates in Northeast Ohio's robust healthcare system," said Regina Prosser, Ph.D., DNP, RN-BC, CNE, dean for health technologies at Lakeland. "This open house is the perfect opportunity to explore our health programs and speak directly with faculty who can help identify a field of interest from our numerous offerings. As demand for healthcare workers continues to increase, Lakeland offers accessible training for these high-demand careers."
Lakeland's health programs prepare students for rewarding roles in patient care and behind-the-scenes medical positions. The curriculum aligns with input from local health system partners to ensure graduates are equipped with the skills employers are actively seeking.
Registration is recommended through lakelandcc.edu/health. Walk-ins are also welcome.
