The Lakeland Nonprofit and Public Service Center will host their seventh annual Northeast Ohio Nonprofit Summit Friday, March 15, 2024, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on the ground floor of Lakeland’s H-Building, located at 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, Ohio 44094.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Joy in the Workplace,” where attendees will have the opportunity to form meaningful connections networking with fellow nonprofits, volunteers, board members and funders. The agenda also includes sessions on artificial intelligence as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.
This year’s keynote speaker is Pat Perry, whose longstanding career in human resources, leadership and innovation makes him a renowned workplace equality advocate. Perry has been inducted into the Northeast Ohio Business Hall of Fame and named to the Cleveland 500, recognizing the region’s most influential leaders.
“We are excited about the lineup for this year’s summit.We are bringing together respected colleagues and expert professionals to advance the nonprofit community in Northeast Ohio,” said Amy Sabath, executive director for Lakeland’s Nonprofit and Public Service Center and government relations. “This year’s summit will provide valuable information on current topics for professionals to take back to their organization and make new contacts along the way.”
Tickets to attend the 2024 Northeast Ohio Nonprofit Summit are $125 per person and include a continental breakfast, boxed lunch and all program materials. The Northeast Ohio Nonprofit Summit is organized by volunteers representing the Fine Arts Association, Lake County Volunteer Network, Lifeline, Leadership Lake County, Signature Health, Rabbit Run Community Theatre, Fairmount Center for the Arts, Maple Leaf Community Housing and the Nonprofit and Public Service Center at Lakeland Community College.
