Virtual Information Week coincides with National Transfer Student Week, Oct. 16-21, and is geared toward the learner that wants to know more about Lakeland, steps for admissions and how to transfer credits into Lakeland or how Lakeland’s credits transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The schedule of virtual, online events includes:
In addition, several academic programs will host their own virtual, online information sessions including:

Fall Campus Visit Day and Information Fair takes place Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon in the health technologies building (H-Building) on Lakeland’s campus in Kirtland.
During the event prospective students and their guests will have the option to join 20-minute information sessions at the top of each hour, focused on how to get started at Lakeland and funding opportunities. Academic programs will be on display and faculty will be on hand to answer questions. In addition, attendees will learn more about the holistic wrap-around support services Lakeland has to offer to help students be successful in their personal, academic and professional lives.
Campus tours will also be available.
“Lakeland’s recruitment team is excited to help prospective students of all ages learn more about the many opportunities available to earn a degree or certificate, upgrade job skills or just take a class to get started,” said Kristina Willey, senior director for student recruitment and Lakeland’s Holden University Center. “Our Virtual Information Week and Fall Campus Visit Day and Information Fair are great opportunities to explore academic programs, short-term certificates, scholarship opportunities and our vibrant campus - both remotely and in person.”
