Lakeland Nonprofit and Public Service Center announces August "Log on and Learn" webinar series

The Nonprofit and Public Service Center at Lakeland Community College has announced its August 2020 program schedule for its "Log on and Learn" webinar series.

Programs will be held online on designated days and cover a wide range of topics of interest to nonprofit agencies.

Participation is free but registration is required. Register online at lakelandcc.edu/nonprofit to receive a link to the event.

"Impact of COVID-19 on Nonprofit Organizations and the People They Serve: Planning for the Future"
Featured speakers will include Kim Fraser, board director for Lake County ADAMHS (Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services), and Mike Matoney, CEO of Crossroads Health.

"What's Next? 8 Tips to Help You Maintain Your Fundraising Momentum During the COVID Crisis"
Presenter and fundraising consultant Jessica Allen will share tactics to stay top of mind.

Thursday, Aug. 27
Noon
"The 2020 Census: How Lake County Nonprofit Organizations Can Receive Their Share of Federal Funding"
Presenters Susan L. Licate, media specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau, and Lake County Commissioner John R. Hamercheck, will highlight key information for nonprofits.
