Real estate professionals teach how to find success in the field

Posted: September 23, 2019

Lakeland Community College will host a free open house and expert panel discussion, “Real Estate Career Night,” Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 6-8 p.m. on the college’s main campus, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, 44094, in T-Building, Room T-129.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of real estate brokers and sales agents is expected to see continued growth through 2028. “Given the projected growth, we decided to provide an opportunity for anyone interested in real estate to learn from local professionals in the field,” said Lakeland’s real estate program department chair, Connie Golden.

The evening will start with a meet and greet with representatives from area real estate companies, followed by a panel of experts will discuss the field of real estate and will answer questions about getting licensed, salary expectations, and what it takes to be successful. Panelists include real estate professionals representing Howard Hanna Real Estate Service, Berkshire Hathaway Professional Realty, and Keller Williams Greater Cleveland Northeast.
