Benefits of the humanities and social sciences explored at Lakeland

Students and members of the community who are interested in learning more about studying the humanities and social sciences are invited to attend a workshop being held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, from 3-5 p.m. in Lakeland’s Center for Learning Innovation (Room A-2100) on the main campus at 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, Ohio.

The workshop will examine the role of the liberal arts and the social sciences in college and the workplace. Faculty from various fields of study will host breakout sessions to provide information about their classes and answer questions. Disciplines being represented at the workshop include: communications, English, history, humanities, modern languages, music, philosophy, political science, psychology, and sociology.

There will also be an employer panel with Dean for Arts and Humanities Dr. Adam Cloutier serving as the moderator.

There is no charge for attending the workshop.
