The Lakeland Civic Chorus will present “Merry Everything and Happy Always!” as their holiday concert this year. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center in the D-Building of the main campus at 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, 44094.

Tickets are available at the door, or by calling the Lakeland Box Office at 440.525.7134. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $2 for students. Tickets are also available online by visiting lakelandcc.edu/arts.

The civic chorus will perform an eclectic arrangement of songs that will include selections from the movie “Ben Hur” composed by Miklos Rozsa; French, Spanish and Italian carols; and many American holiday favorites. Part of the evening festivities will include the conducting debut of Lakeland Community College student Meghan Sweeney. Two new ensembles will also join the chorus: the Lakeland Women’s Choir and the Lakeland Chorale. The women’s choir will celebrate the music of noted classical composers with pieces from Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Benjamin Britten, and the chorale will round out the program with heartwarming traditional Christmas songs.
