Welcome to Lakeland!

You are embarking on an exciting time in your life. Take advantage of the many diverse resources that are available to you as a Lakeland student. The time spent in classes and with studying is the foundation of your educational experience. However, there are other opportunities for learning and growth, such as participating in a student organization. There are also a variety of activities scheduled throughout the semester including workshops, lectures, films, theatrical productions, art shows, etc. All this and more are waiting for you as you begin your Lakeland Community College experience. FREE Events & Activities!

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) and Lakeland Student Goverment (LSG) will sponsor various programs and activities to welcome students to Lakeland from 8/24-8/27. Stop by the Student Center Atrium and Bookstore hallway for free food and a chance to win an assortment of great prizes!

MONDAY, 8/24

8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Lakeland Student Government will sponsor a Welcome Wagon to provide FREE donuts and beverages

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Campus Activities Board will be handing out FREE brownie sundaes and prizes

4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Welcome Wagon for evening students

*Weeklong Scavenger Hunt beginning Monday and ending Friday at 5 p.m. Come to the S.E.A.L. office (S-237) for your first clue and a chance to win one of eight $25 gift cards or the grand prize, a 24" smart TV!


8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Lakeland Student Government will sponsor a Welcome Wagon to provide FREE donuts and beverages
