A Message from the President

"I wanted to let you know that we as a college are all working very hard to make sure you succeed. My hope is that you do not give up, that you recognize this is history in the making and that you’re engaged and involved in a case study that’s never been done before. The world needs all of us to come together and we need you to succeed in your studies.

The fears, the anxiety, the stresses that you’re going to experience over the next couple of months do not need to be carried alone. We have a lot of people at the college who are standing ready to help you in any way that you need and we’ll find the solution for you."

Tips for wellness
  • Create and stick to a schedule or routine as much as possible while home.
  • Physical Distancing vs. Social Isolation.
"Social Distancing" can be isolating. Stay connected with family and friends virtually through phone calls, email, texts, face time, social media, etc.
  • Maintain physical activity. Many gyms and online services are providing free or discounted classes to stream online.

  • Open a window or step outside for some fresh air when you can.
  • Stay informed and educated on important updates while limiting excessive time scrolling social media. Watch the news in a healthy dose for you.
  • Remember to control what you can control during this time of unknowns.

Counseling Services are still available
Counseling and Advising services are available over the phone for students. To make an appointment call 440.525.7200
