Coursework is based on NAVTA recommended curriculum for veterinary assistants.

Focus is on the care of dogs and cats in a general practice setting.

Topics will include identification and treatment of common diseases and parasites, pet nutrition, diagnostic imaging and surgical assisting. Includes internship at a local facility. Courses are in person. Open to high school seniors and up; must be 18 years of age by class start date.

Course runs Saturdays 9/9 through 11/11.
