THEATRE PERFORMANCES

"Merrily We Roll Along"

In the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center

Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim

Book by George Furth

Based on the original play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart

Directed by Dr. Martin Friedman

Feb. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m.

Feb. 4, 11 and 18 at 2 p.m.

Sondheim’s inventive, semi-biographical musical is rich with witty interplay and brilliant songs. It follows in reverse, the 20-year story of Franklin Shepard, an accomplished Hollywood producer who abandoned his composing gifts and relationships with dear childhood friends, Mary and Charley, as well as his marriage, to follow the lure of shallow commercial success. Considered one of Sondheim’s best scores, this Tony Award-nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning play questions what truly remains when the curtain finally comes down.

Tickets: $15 for adults . $13 for seniors . $7 for students

Call 440.525.7526 for production information.
