ENGR 1000 - Intro to Engineering Tech [Description / Prerequisite / Fees]

Prerequisite: A grade of "SC" or better in MATH 0850 or MATH 1080 or placement test into MATH 1180. This course introduces students to various fields of engineering technology. Students will learn and apply problem-solving methods while performing laboratory experiments related to engineering technology. Students will use word processing and spreadsheet applications to create laboratory reports and technical papers. Students will also use library resources and the Internet to complete assignments and will gain an introduction to quality concepts and ethics relating to engineering.
