Lakeland inducts four new members into its Alumni Hall of Fame

The Lakeland Alumni and Friends Network recently inducted four new members into the 2021 Lakeland Alumni Hall of Fame at a ceremony held Thursday, Oct. 21.

This year's Lakeland Alumni Hall of Fame inductees are: Steve Gagliardi, class of 1997; Karen Shelby, class of 1977; Dave Stumpf, class of 1992; and Patricia Willson, class of 1981. Read more about the 2021 inductees here.

During the ceremony, the 2020 Alumni Hall of Fame inductees were also honored having missed their ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions on gathering.

The 2020 inductees were: Mary Jean Donovan, 1975; Frank Kitchen, 1995; James O’Leary, 1982; Kathy Popp, 1980; and Christine Price, 1971.

The award honors Lakeland graduates who have made a difference in their careers, in the community and at Lakeland.

Previously inducted members of the Lakeland Hall of Fame established the Alumni Hall of Fame Scholarship. To date, more than $20,000 has been raised to help Lakeland students achieve their academic goals.
