TRAFFIC ALERT: Construction on the SR-306 bridge

Construction on the SR-306 bridge over I-90 begins Aug. 18 through Nov. 2022. One lane will be maintained in each direction. Delays can be expected. Consider alternate routes to enter campus off Garfield Road.
Lakeland Campus Police Department has suggested the following alternate routes as ways to avoid the construction zone getting to or from campus:
North or Westbound Local Traffic:
- Depart campus using main exit.
- Turn left onto 306, then a quick right on Kirtland Road
- First traffic light is Route 84.
- Second traffic light is Mentor Avenue
North or Eastbound Local Traffic:
- Depart campus using Garfield Road (east side of campus).
- Turn left onto Garfield Road
- First traffic light is Route 84.
- Second traffic light is Mentor Avenue
East or Westbound Freeway Traffic:
- Depart campus using Garfield Road (east side of campus).
- Turn left onto Garfield Road
- Turn right onto Norton Pkwy. (just past bridge).
- At traffic light, turn right onto Route 615.
- Westbound traffic, stay in right lane.
- Eastbound traffic, stay in left lane.
