Lakeland Community College’s civic music groups have joined their talented members together to present a virtual concert that can be played right in your home. In an effort to keep the arts alive during the pandemic, the civic band, civic chorus, civic flute choir, civic jazz orchestra and civic orchestra used the latest technology to create an online concert, free to all. In addition to the concert, the music program has created instructional videos free to anyone interested in broadening their musical skills. About the civic music programs
Lakeland Community College provides community members the opportunity to express and advance their talents by performing in five music groups: the Lakeland Civic Band, the Lakeland Civic Chorus, the Lakeland Flute Choir, the Lakeland Civic Jazz Orchestra and the Lakeland Civic Orchestra.Additionally, the college offers talented high school students Jazz Impact, an all-star high school music group.
