In light of the college campus remaining closed due to the state's stay at home order, Lakeland Community College will participate in its first-ever virtual college fair Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m. (please note times on the schedule are listed as central time). The virtual fair is presented by the Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling and StriveScan.

There is no cost to high school students or their families to participate.

The session will include a thirty-minute presentation and a fifteen-minute question and answer session.

The event is free but registration is required. Those interested may register by visiting https://app.strivescan.com/students?id=1773

Topics discussed will include:
• Don't let COVID-19 put your future on hold and why now is the time to get started on a college degree
• Staying close to home and save thousands on college tuition
• How credits transfer easily
• All about the Lakeland Honors program
• Degree pathways to bachelor's and master's degrees
