Directed by Dr. Martin Friedman

Performance dates: Feb.1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 3, 10 and 17 at 2 p.m.

Some days you just don't feel like yourself

In a zany turn of events, a stressed-out mom and her rebellious teenage daughter wake up to find they have magically exchanged minds. Now living in each other's bodies, they struggle to behave as the other person. And they have only one day before mom's big wedding to figure out how to switch back! Their many challenges bring about both humorous and touching situations - and important lessons about self-acceptance, mutual respect and just how much they love each other.

This new musical is an updated take on the celebrated Mary Rodgers' novel that was also made into three popular movies. The story is profound, the action is lively and the music is magical.

The book is by Bridget Carpenter and the music and lyrics are by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey.

The production is held in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center in the D-Building.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $7 for students. Tickets can be purchased by calling 440.525.7134 or online at lakelandcc.edu/arts.
