THEATRE PERFORMANCES

"The Guide's Guide to Lawnfield"

By Faye Sholiton

Directed by Dr. Martin Friedman

Oct. 11 and 12 at noon

Oct. 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m.

FREE and open to the public.

A rather life-changing and after life-changing experience.

Award-winning writer Fay Sholiton's two-person play explores what happens when a young man is introduced to a very special tutor. Joe is an 18-year old history geek and unabashed fan of James A. Garfiled. While leading a tour of the late president's Mentor home, he encounters a visitor who is particularly adamant that he gets the story right. Along the way, Joe discovers the story he will want others to tell about him.

Experts on Garfield history will host discussions after each production.

The performances are being held in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center in the D-Building on Lakeland's main campus.
